Today was a cold, rainy and windy day and we had 20 km to walk from El Real to Monestoria. It was a slow slog uphill as the elevation increased 200 m and with a headwind and rain, it was no picnic. My muscles were aching by the time I reached the Albergue.
We have made some friends with the other Peregrinos who are doing this
route and staying at the same Albergue and tonight we went out for
drinks and a meal with an Australian couple and a couple of Dutch guys.
Tomorrow should be easier. Although the distance is further - 21 km, it is all downhill. If there is Internet I will write more tomorrow.
